When I was doing my own research about a year ago, I can remember that the difference between the different Master programmes I was considering was actually tenuous. Back then, I was only sure about the fact that I wanted to study abroad. So, what could in fact make the difference? How could I make sure that I would make the most out of this experience? Well, there is no clear answer – surprise, surprise! However, if you put the same weight I do on the variables I am about to describe, then you should consider Frankfurt School.

Most likely, the biggest advantage of Frankfurt school is its “3-Day Model” structure. The opportunity to pursue a professional experience while studying will make a difference by the time you come to address the job market. You would be surprised if I told you that your future employer does not care about your grades as much as you probably think. Calm down! Grades still matter! However, hands-on experiences are what differentiate you from your peers. At the end of the day, you will all have studied the same theoretical framework and the internship or part-time job you took during the second semester might be what lands you your dream job!

Additionally, the fact that Frankfurt School is located in one of the main European financial hubs can only be an advantage. The school allows you to be exposed to the main players in the market and with that comes the opportunity to receive some valuable insights from individuals with vast experience in the industry. The fact that your colleagues offer you a lot of support when it  comes to gathering information about different job positions is really interesting. Since some of them have had the chance to be involved in at least one professional experience, they will be able to share the pros and cons of their experiences with you. Moreover, the fact that your future professors also have a long career can be determinant to help you building the bridge between theory and practice.

Nevertheless, and above all, an experience such as a Master’s degree should offer you the opportunity to foster your personal development. In that sense, Frankfurt School offers you an important multicultural environment in which you should expect to find colleagues from completely different backgrounds. Such atmosphere makes the experience of studying at Frankfurt School important, not only for your future career path, but also from a personal growth perspective.

I do not share the idea that a Master’s fits all. However, if you picture that the above-mentioned elements could play a role in achieving your Master’s goals, then you should consider Frankfurt School as the key to unlock great opportunities for your future.
