{"id":3677,"date":"2015-09-22T07:25:22","date_gmt":"2015-09-22T07:25:22","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/blog.frankfurt-school.de\/?p=3677"},"modified":"2023-10-05T09:06:49","modified_gmt":"2023-10-05T08:06:49","slug":"record-year-bsc","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/blog.frankfurt-school.de\/de\/record-year-bsc\/","title":{"rendered":"A record year for the Frankfurt School Bachelor of Science"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><\/p>\n<h2>The record<\/h2>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/blog.frankfurt-school.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/09\/bsc-2015_3.jpg\" rel=\"lightbox[3677]\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3681 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.frankfurt-school.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/bsc-2015_3-345x460-1.jpg\" alt=\"bsc 2015_3\" width=\"222\" height=\"296\" \/><\/a>265 students started their studies in the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.caton.de\/business-education\/frankfurt-school-bachelor\/\">Bachelor of Science in Business Administration<\/a> at Frankfurt School this fall. That\u2019s a record intake for the\u00a0 School and a whopping 18% increase compared to last year. The number of international guest students also rose to a new record and together this means that we have more undergraduate students on campus than ever before. One more reason we urgently need <a href=\"http:\/\/www.frankfurt-school.de\/neuer-campus\/en.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">our new, bigger campus<\/a> (coming in 2017)!<span id=\"more-596\"><\/span><br \/>\nI\u2019m happy that two other figures also increased. The number of international degree-seeking students (that is, those who are properly enrolled, not the guest students) rose to 15.5% of the cohort. The percentage of female students reached 24.5%. That\u2019s not where I want it to be, but it\u2019s more than in the past years, where the average percentage was around 22.8%.<\/p>\n<h2>So, what\u2019s next? <img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\" wp-image-3688 alignright\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.frankfurt-school.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/bsc-2015_2-460x306-1.jpg\" alt=\"bsc 2015_2\" width=\"275\" height=\"183\" \/><\/h2>\n<p>We expect to grow the intakes at a healthy rate, although probably not by 18% every year. I will continue to focus on increasing the number of international students and women.
