We checked your grades, your international experience, your English test and the GMAT or GRE results (if applicable). The last step between you and admission is the interview.<br \/>\nScared? No need to!<\/p>\n<h2>So what do we want to find out in the interview that we do not see in your application documents?<\/h2>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft wp-image-5376\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.frankfurt-school.de\/wp-content\/uploads\/2023\/10\/Mib-interview-460x306-1.jpg\" alt=\"fotosearch Stockphotos\" width=\"268\" height=\"178\" \/>Our Master of International Business usually has small study groups between 30 to 40 students and teamwork is the norm. Therefore, we are looking for students who embrace this idea and are not scared by working with peers from all over the world. The purpose of the interview is to gain a better understanding of your character, personality, expectations, motivations and goals.<br \/>\nIn the end of the interview we would like to answer two questions:<br \/>\nIs the programme the right choice for the applicant? Will the applicant fit into the programme?<\/p>\n<h2>We have a few tips for you on how to prepare:<\/h2>\n<ol>\n<li>Make sure you are able to conduct the interview without any disturbances, switch off your phone, have sufficient time etc.<\/li>\n<li>Be prepared \u2013 know what you wrote in your application \u2013 we might have questions and will realize when you wrote something that is not 100% true<\/li>\n<li>Know the programme you are applying for \u2013 it does not leave a good impression if you talk about \u201cMaster in Marketing\u201d when interviewing for our Master of International Business<\/li>\n<li>Write down your open questions \u2013 this is the best opportunity to ask them<\/li>\n<li>Take the interview seriously \u2013 this is your chance to convince us<\/li>\n<li>Be precise \u2013 do not repeat yourself<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>And most important \u2013 be yourself! As described above we would like to get to know you as a person. Don\u2019t try to be someone else.
