International Business Environment allows you to acquire the key skills to analyse the business environment across countries and the way that firms manage their operations in global markets in order to achieve competitive advantage. With this in mind, the main components of this module will include managing global business risk – particularly in emerging markets, supply chain management, foreign direct investment, management of people across cultures / borders, international market selection, and entry mode choice.
The International Management module gives you a thorough insight to the significant factors for businesses operating on a global scale. This includes the cultural aspects of employee characteristics, motivations, reactions to leadership decisions, and cross-cultural topics of human resource management.
Global management is essentially about how firms manage their operations in global markets in order to achieve competitive advantage. Considering this, the main components of the module will include managing global business risk – particularly in emerging markets, supply chain management, foreign direct investment, management of people across cultures/borders, international market selection, and entry mode choice.
We provide you with the International Module. Studying at an International Partner University for a period of 1-2 weeks, whilst being fully engaged with assignments, presentations and case studies allows you to share and develop ideas alongside students from another top business school.
And there’s more! You can put theory into practice and give yourself the most hands-on international experience there is by actually going abroad! Broaden your perspectives, gain new insights and build your network in today’s ever globalising business environment. The International Business concentration will get you there.
