3 Wege zum Hochschulstudium ohne Abitur

With every new beginning there comes a feeling of uncertainty. Although you can contact your family and friends with just a few taps on your phone, you’re still far from them and about to start a new journey on your own.

FS makes you feel at home

As an international student, this sensation might be a little more intense as you suddenly find yourself far from your home country and the ones you love. I moved from Brazil to study my BSc with a focus on International Management at Frankfurt School and even though I had a good grasp of what Frankfurt School is and what they represent, I had no idea the introduction week would be so much fun.

Induction week activities

The school organised a week full of activities, giving the students a glimpse onto their academic and professional future. Here’s what we got up to:

  • Various team-building activities throughout Frankfurt
  • Workshops
  • Social activities
  • Speeches and
  • of course, a lot of fun.

Brand new campus

On the first day of our introduction week, we were warmly welcomed on the new campus by our programme director, student advisor and, a few days later, Frankfurt School’s President. Seeing the new campus was definitely one of the highlights of the week. As a matter of fact, it’s really hard to picture Frankfurt School without the new campus now. I was amazed by its size, location and great architecture. I couldn’t wait to start my classes!

Workshops

During the week Frankfurt School offered us a choice of more than 15 workshops, each addressing useful matters for a successful academic and professional life. Some of the workshops included Personal Branding, Meditation and Values & Goals. These were very interesting as they addressed the work-life balance issues and brought up the importance of reviewing our daily habits.

The right decision

After months of getting ready for the move to Frankfurt, it was really gratifying to see how Frankfurt School prepares their students for success from day one. Even though I was 100% sure of my decision to leave my family, job, and studies in Brazil to start all over at FS, experiencing the Introduction Week was a reassurance that I was on the right track.

As a student at Frankfurt School, it quickly becomes evident, whether you would like to work for company, a bank or even start your business, you will be provided with the right tools for your future.
