The Frankfurt School International Office has had a busy summer full of international visitors. It started with a group from IIM Kolkata visiting with managers from Coal India in May. In June we had groups from India and Egypt come to visit to learn about leadership and management strategies.

However, July was when we were able to welcome our most diverse groups of guests. First there was a group from USIU in Kenya with nearly 40 Global Executive MBA students visiting for a week. After that, our three Summer Academies started. The first was our Micro & SME Banking Summer Academy with over 60 participants from almost 30 countries. Outside the classroom, participants were able to show their cultures with a Dance Competition, and all helped cheer on Germany on their way to winning the World Cup. The following weeks welcomed more participants from around the world with our Climate & Sustainable Energy Finance and Housing Finance Summer Academies.

Alongside the Summer Academies, we also welcomed Bachelor and Master students to our Finance Boot Camp Summer School as well as a second group from Coal India. Needless to say, we have had quite a busy summer, but enjoyed meeting all these people from around the world.

While the office is quieter now, we are looking forward to welcoming our future groups coming in the Fall from China, Turkey and South Africa. We encourage anyone looking to develop their skills to check out our open enrolment executive programmes. In 2014, we are still accepting applications for our Finance Week 22-26 September, Financial Management and Strategy Week 1-5 December, Building and Leading Winning Teams 3-5 December and PPPS in the Health Care Sector 8-12 December.
We look forward to meeting you, and if you have any questions, feel free to write us at ExecutiveEd@fs.de
