Studying AI in Australia: Research, Learning, and the Wild

When deciding where to spend my study abroad semester, the University of Melbourne quickly became my first choice. It had long been a dream destination for me because of its strong academic reputation and its focus on research-driven learning. Studying here offers the opportunity to apply methods I have learned during my master’s program in a new academic environment while also gaining exposure to world-class research.

Artificial Intelligence is transforming our world faster than ever, not only impacting how we work, but also the way we live. As one of the key drivers of digitalization and automation, AI shapes industries and societies worldwide. Yet, its effects on sustainability topics are often overlooked in the mainstream debate.

For FS Swimming, the World Inter University Championships (WIUC) marked the team’s first international appearance — an exciting opportunity to represent Frankfurt School on a global stage and compete alongside some of the world’s most talented student athletes.

FS Charity: From Campus to Community – Students Driving Change

What began as a small team has grown into a passionate group of students spread across nine departments: Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Spring Run, Easter Donation, Spring Concert, Joblinge, LEO and Volunteering.

For a few weeks now, Frankfurt School has been offering its students new seating in the Creative Learning Lounge opposite the Deli. The 18 seating cubes each represent a UN sustainability goal, as well as current progress and urgency.

The MHFA Training: Becoming a Certified Mental Health First Aider

Many of us have struggled with their mental health at some point or know someone that did. But often times, we have no idea how to help in these situations. How should I talk to someone who is having a panic attack? Should I approach a friend that seems like exam stress is overwhelming them? And can I call an ambulance when someone is having a mental health emergency? These questions and more are answered during the 12-hour course, that equips you with foundational knowledge about different mental health topics.

Frankfurt School Swimming – Premiere bei der Karlsruher Sprintnacht 2025

Am Freitag, den 05. Dezember 2025, nahm die Initiative Frankfurt School Swimming erstmals an der Karlsruher Sprintnacht teil. Austragungsort der 21. Fridericiana Sprintnacht war die Schwimmhalle des Karlsruher Institut für Technologie in Karlsruhe. Der Wettkampf wird im Rahmen des Hochschulsports ausgetragen und ist als Abendveranstaltung mit einem klaren Fokus auf Sprintstrecken konzipiert. Auf dem Programm standen Vorläufe und Finalläufe über 50 m Freistil (Kraul), 50 m Rücken, 50 m Brust und 50 m Schmetterling sowie die 100 m Lagen. Ergänzt wurde der Einzelbereich durch mehrere Mixed-Staffeln und Sonderformate wie die Challenge-Staffel und die Spaßstaffel.

START Hack 2025 – Frankfurt School at Europe's most entrepreneurial Hackathon

Earlier in March, a group of ten dedicated students from Frankfurt School went on an exciting journey to St. Gallen, Switzerland, to participate in START Hack, Europe’s most entrepreneurial hackathon. The initiative was organized through FS Coding, the university’s student tech community, which recently launched GDG on Campus – supported by Google. This group aims to spark interest in software development, artificial intelligence, and digital innovation by org anizing tech events such as career talks, coding sessions, and FS’s very first own Hackathon.

Nach der ersten Teilnahme an den Deutschen Hochschulmeisterschaften (DHM) Schwimmen im Jahr 2023, bei der Robin Schmutz als Einzelstarter für die Frankfurt School antrat, folgte 2024 erstmals ein größeres Team.

Anna Eisenhut wird Deutsche Hochschulmeisterin 2025

Vom 4. bis 6. Juli 2025 fand die Deutsche Hochschulmeisterschaft Golf (DHM) im renommierten Golf Club Bad Saarow statt. Die Veranstaltung wurde durch den Allgemeinen Deutschen Hochschulsportverband (adh) organisiert und in Kooperation mit der Freien Universität Berlin ausgerichtet.

The absolute highlight of our initiative is the annual trip to the largest and most prestigious university-level MUN worldwide: the National Model United Nations (NMUN) conference in New York. FS MUN sends a delegation of approximately 42 students to New York each year, where they meet and work with students from over 120 countries.

Financing advice no longer comes mainly from banks or newspapers, especially not for younger investors. Instead, it shows up directly in social media feeds. On TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, finfluencers explain which stocks are “trending” or which trade promises quick returns. Their reach is enormous and their influence continues to grow. At the same time, regulators and consumer protection agencies are raising concerns. They warn that entertaining, short-term financial content may encourage impulsive trading decisions. But does exposure to financial content on social media really lead young investors to trade more frequently?

HEC Business Game 2025: Working on Real World Business Challenges

Earlier this month, I had the incredible opportunity to represent Frankfurt School of Finance & Management at the HEC Business Game 2025 held in Paris. Known as one of the most competitive and prestigious case competitions in Europe, the event brought together 150 talented students from 55 universities and 33 countries.

As Master of Finance students at Frankfurt School, we are naturally familiar with topics like valuation, financial modelling, and M&A dynamics from an academic perspective. However, applying these concepts in a high-pressure, fast-paced negotiation setting was an entirely different story.
