We were challenged to apply different theories and strategies to real-world scenarios. The results made it clear to many of us why we pursued an MBA. Examining your innate strengths and weaknesses is imperative when crafting a sustainable future. It was a fitting exercise amidst lectures about the challenges and benchmarks KSA has set for itself.
Embarking on my MBA journey in healthcare has been a profoundly personal and transformative experience in growing my perspective, growth, and aspirations. Being passionate about healthcare and driven to make a meaningful impact, I have gained a deeper understanding of the business side of the healthcare industry through the programme.

I spent 20 years in the banking industry. These experiences shaped my passion for operational efficiencies, process-oriented organisation and data-driven decision-making. While these years taught me adaptability, compassion and the joy of working in diverse cultural environments. But something was always missing; the human side, which is more than the numbers.
The London Module addressed the flow of tangible goods within a healthcare organisation. The local guest speakers guaranteed first-hand insights into the UK healthcare system. The first-time implementation of a real case study into the module was an adventurous experiment which challenged not only the scholars.

A rendezvous with healthcare entrepreneurs during my MBA module in Singapore

The first day of our module was dedicated to “Biomedical innovation in Asia”, a programme organised by NUS Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine, through which we got to meet and learn from brilliant entrepreneurs who shared their professional stories. It has been eye-opening for me to learn about different healthcare systems with this MBA.
Our class visited Singapore in September 2022. The Singapore module focused on two of the most talked about topics in healthcare, Quality and Risk. Here, we were given a holistic overview of the healthcare market in Asia, comparing strategies for commercial innovation in healthcare.
