Prof. Dr. Rainer Hegselmann

Professor of Philosophy

Rainer Hegselmann studied philosophy, sociology, and political sciences at Ruhr–Universität Bochum. He took his PhD from Essen University with the thesis „Normativity and Rationality – The Problem of Practical Reason in the Analytical Philosophy“. Rainer Hegselmann hold guest professorships and fellowship at several universities and advanced-study institutions. After his retirement at Bayreuth University, Rainer Hegselmann is now doing teaching and research as a professor at Frankfurt School.
