Studying the Part-time MBA programme at FS was an action-packed experience offering a breadth of current business knowledge and real-world applications. It’s an incredible time to build your professional self and connect with those you can support and, of course, who can also support you. Identify what you want to accomplish, take courses, make friends, connect with business partners and execute through the master thesis.

As an alumna of the Master in Data Analytics & Management programme, I have witnessed a unique blend of diversity and commonality within our community. This diversity does more than just enrich our academic experience; it provides a prism through which we can view and understand the multifaceted nature of career development.
As a Master in Management alum, it was quite nostalgic to be back, listening to the lecture in which I would present. This time, not as a student but as a company representative for Daimler Truck to enhance the practical learning experience within the programme. It was a fun experience not only to present but also to answer many questions asked by the students.

MiM Alumni gathering: a scintillating afternoon at Kloster Eberbach

The Alumni get-together of MiM students was a great opportunity to reunite and network with other alumni not just from my intake year (2019) but also from the older (2017 & 2018) intakes. Frankfurt School planned an amazing agenda filled with academic talks, panel discussions, a monastery tour and wine tasting at a picturesque location at Kloster Eberbach in Rheingau.
Regelmäßiger Austausch auf Augenhöhe mit einem oder einer FS Absolvierenden, bei dem alle Fragen erlaubt sind und wertvolle Tipps rund um das Studium sowie die weitere Entwicklung gegeben werden. Genau diese Option erhalten Studierende im Rahmen des Bachelor of Arts, Bachelor of Science und dem Management-Studium.

In addition, a large portion of managers and executives spend a considerable amount of their time on project-related matters, even though some of them lack a fundamental understanding of how projects should be managed.

Mein Einstieg in die M&A Branche bei Saxenhammer

Nach dem Studium eine Karriere im M&A: Viel Arbeit, dafür aber ein großes Netzwerk und hohe Gehälter. So der Traum vieler Studenten, die kurz vor dem Abschluss stehen. Auch meine Vorstellungen gingen in eine ähnliche Richtung. Doch wie sieht es nun, nach zwei Jahren Berufserfahrung, in der Realität aus?
Auch wenn die Studienphase Zeit und Mühe gekostet hat, denke ich, dass ich mich während und auch gerade durch diese Weiterbildung sowohl fachlich als auch persönlich gut weiterentwickeln konnte. Viele Prozesse und Vorgänge kann man nach dem Studium besser verstehen.

I can say that the MBA has positively changed my career path after being in the energy sector for 5 years. Even though I had never considered it previously, I am now on a new adventure in the sustainable finance field, working for the FS-UNEP Centre.

Every year in November, Frankfurt School Career Services organizes the Frankfurt School Career Day, exclusively for FS students and alumni. This is where I got my first impression of Berenberg. The unique Wealth & Asset Management (WAM) program immediately caught my attention, which I applied that day.
The idea of the leader as a servant to his or her team, someone who focuses on the development, growth and well-being of the team members can make a pivotal difference in the lives of those being led, the leaders themselves, and eventually the department and/or the organization they work for.
