Aufgrund ihrer Leistungsfähigkeit und ihres breiten Einsatzspektrums wird der Einsatz von KI in vielen Bereichen des Arbeitslebens bald zum Standard werden, so dass ihre Beherrschung und effektiver Einsatz von ausschlaggebender Bedeutung für die Konkurrenz- und Zukunftsfähigkeit jedes Einzelnen sein wird. Für Vorstände und Führungskräfte ist es daher unerlässlich, sich frühzeitig mit den Möglichkeiten und Herausforderungen heutiger KI-Systeme auseinanderzusetzen.

Verbesserung von Fehlern in aktuellen und historischen Meldedaten

Im April des letzten Jahres veröffentlichte die Europäische Bankaufsichtsbehörde (EBA) eine neue Leitlinie zur erneuten Vorlage historischer Daten im Rahmen der EBA-Melderegelungen (EBA/GL/2024/04)1. Dabei sind vor allem Säule I Meldedaten gemeint, aber auch Daten, welche der Aufsicht regelmäßig übermittelt werden. In der Leitlinie ist die Korrektur dieser Daten dargelegt.

Mit insgesamt 232 weiblichen und 193 männlichen Teilnehmenden verzeichnete der diesjährige Wettbewerb beeindruckende 1.429 Einzelstarts und 127 Staffelmeldungen. Unter den Athleten war auch das Team der Frankfurt School, das mit neun motivierten Studierenden antrat.

Current political discourse teems with discussions about language. People get hot-headed about gender-neutral language, street names, what one is “still allowed to say,” and the limits of political correctness. Recently, the German state of Bavaria’s conservative government even went so far as to ban outright gender-neutral spellings in all legal and administrative state regulation, the justification being that such spellings would make official regulations harder to understand.

Iraq has endured years of conflict and political instability which has severely impacted economic activity, no less for its crucial SME sector.Access to finance remains a significant hurdle for Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) in Iraq. Despite being the backbone of the economy, contributing significantly to employment rates and GDP, SMEs face substantial barriers to obtaining the financial resources they need to grow and sustain their operations.

FS Sustainability: Tree Planting Initiative

The Frankfurt School Sustainability initiative organised a Tree Planting event on the 22nd of November in collaboration with Frankfurt School’s corporate partner and donor CHOM Capital and the Hessen Forest State Management in Königstein im Taunus.
Two weeks ago, I had the honor to represent Frankfurt School at the Business and Management Case Competition at Universidad Panamericana in Guadalajara, Mexico. With my colleagues Martha Zoller, Cloe De Leo, Tristan Schwarz and our coach, Prof. Jerry Guo, we faced three case challenges and competed against 15 other universities from all around the world.

The Master’s in Management programme offers four distinct concentrations, each developing different competencies, be it strategic, communicative or data-driven. This decision requires careful consideration of both personal and professional goals.
The German University Golf Championships (DHM Golf), held on September 21 and 22 at the South Course of Golfpark Idstein, offered an exciting display of competitive golf. Organized by the sports department of Hochschule RheinMain, the tournament took place under ideal conditions, with perfect weather and excellent course maintenance contributing to a successful event.

I'm Kari Foss-Persson, and my path to entrepreneurship began when I enrolled in the Executive MBA programme at the Frankfurt School of Finance & Management. Initially aiming to deepen my understanding of business dynamics and leadership for my corporate legal role, I was inspired to start my own law firm – Vinland Immigration GmbH – where we help obtain US visas and green cards for companies, families, and individuals.

The AKB Business Champions Case Competition: Insights, Challenges, and Learnings

This month, I had the incredible opportunity to participate in the AKB Business Champions Case Competition in Mannheim alongside five fellow Master's students from Frankfurt School. Competing against nine other universities, including the University of Mannheim and HSG, we delved into four challenging case categories in partnership with top consulting firms and banks.
In 2023, global CO₂ emissions reached 37.4 Gt. To meet our climate goals, we need to reduce emissions to close to zero AND remove 7–9 Gt of CO₂ annually from the atmosphere. Current novel Carbon Dioxide Removal (CDR) methods removed a meagre 1.3 million tons (0.0013 Gt) in 2023.
