Inside the ECB: Insights from a Talk on Europe’s Monetary Future

Last week, we had the opportunity to visit the European Central Bank (ECB) in Frankfurt. Listening to someone who has seen the evolution of European monetary policy from the inside was both insightful and inspiring. His talk gave us a broader understanding of the ECB’s role, its challenges, and the future of the euro.
I had the unique opportunity to attend the Semester Opening Event at the European Central Bank (ECB), organised specifically for Master’s students at Frankfurt School. As a second-semester Master of Finance student, this event was a fantastic way to kick off the semester.

The Master of Finance (MoF) programme has not only helped me build a foundation and fill the knowledge gap in financial studies, but it has also exposed me to different career possibilities and paths within the industry.

Exploring corporate finance and embracing the Three-day Model at FS

I chose Frankfurt School's Master of Finance programme primarily due to its exceptional reputation in finance. The university's strong track record, academic excellence and industry connections made it an obvious choice for me. Moreover, the unique three-day model, which enables students to work and study simultaneously, was a significant draw.
Deciding where to pursue a master's degree in finance is no small task. After completing a dual bachelor's programme, I had a clear vision of what I wanted from my next academic journey. The reputation of Frankfurt School as a leading business school was an initial attraction. And academically, FS stood out with its high-quality courses and accomplished professors.

Competing Globally: FS students’ journey & success at the HEC Business Game 2023

The HEC Business Game is an annual competition that brings together students from top universities worldwide to compete in solving real-life business cases. We had the honour to represent FS at the HEC Business Game 2023 and are proud that we performed exceptionally well, winning the overall victory of the business game.
As soon as I joined the Sustainable Finance Team at Deloitte in early 2022, I knew I wanted to further develop and extend my skills and theoretical knowledge in this field. Once I saw the newly offered Sustainable Finance concentration, the decision to complete my Master of Finance degree at FS was very easy for me.
