Selam! I am Addis and I am honoured to have been accepted for the 2015 Master of International Business. Born in beautiful Ethiopia in the mid-80s, I want to complement 7 years of professional experience in public relations and communications with a first class education at Frankfurt School.   I am fortunate to say I live on a continent with a booming economy and plenty of possibilities. But in order to tap such potential it needs the knowledge, skills and experience which I hope to gain during my Master with a regional specialization on Africa.
Such an opportunity comes once in a lifetime and I intend to make it happen regardless of the challenges. Frankfurt School has already boosted my ambition with a generous scholarship offer that covers a large part of the tuition fees. However, while going abroad to acquire quality education and gain international experience has become normality for many of my western fellows, developing countries like Ethiopia lack organisations that offer scholarships to young people like me who have worked hard to get such an opportunity, but lack the financial means. This is why I decided to address a broader audience with a crowdfunding campaign on Indiegogo in order to acquire the necessary funds to cover my living expenses during my studies in Germany
However, inspired by my experiences and the ideas and support of friends and fellows who helped me setting up this campaign and telling my story, this campaign is not just about me: I want to create a project called fundmystudies that should serve as a platform in the near future for those who face similar challenges so that they can find the necessary support by telling their story to an international community. I’ve set up a website, fundmystudies.org that provides more information about me, the project idea and its supporters, as well as how you can support my current campaign.

You can also follow the project on Facebook and Twitter.
If you like my campaign and my project idea please support me and spread the word so that I will become part of the Frankfurt School community in August 2015 and proudly proclaim myself as its student!
Thank you!
