Do you already know where you want to go and what you would really like to do? Do you want to find out which career path fits you best, or do you already have a concrete career goal in mind? These are just a few questions that many students are struggling with. At FS Career Services, we know this all too well and can reassure you – there is an answer to every question.

Take the opportunity to learn from the diverse and international experiences at FS Career Services. We will help you find your career path, provide you with a tailored career roadmap and prepare you for the job market and your next career move.

How does that work?

Kick-start your career and get prepared

It is important to think about your career as early as possible – ideally from day one of your studies.

We provide career advice on all relevant topics on our career portal JobTeaser under Career Tips. Here, you can find out how to write a CV and cover letter, how to best prepare for an interview or where to find attractive job offers, for example. In our podcast, we keep you up to date on the latest developments in the job market.

Learning together is, of course, the most fun, which is why we offer many workshops on various career topics at the beginning of each semester, such as how to prepare your application documents or how to prepare for the next interview, to name but a few.

Define your career goal and analyse your competencies

If you are not sure about what might be a good fit for you, we will help you identify your competencies in a one-on-one counselling session, so you can define and reach your goal with a step-by-step plan.

The best thing you can do is to get as much work experience as possible during your studies and explore different job fields, to help find out if what you think fits you today is really something you feel passionate about in the future.

Gain practical experience through working student positions or internships, deepen your knowledge and expand your skill set to get closer to your goal.

Build your own network and meet your dream employer

Your own network is crucial for a successful career. Therefore, you can never start early enough. At FS Career Services, we help you build your network during your studies and beyond with alumni, recruiters and interesting companies. Throughout your time at Frankfurt School, you will get to know a variety of inspiring personalities, companies and industries. Alumni share their experiences and describe their career paths. Whether on campus or by visiting companies, you will have many different opportunities to get to know your dream employer.

The biggest networking event of the year is our career fair, Career Day, to which Frankfurt School students and alumni are exclusively invited. It takes place once a year in November and gives you the opportunity to meet many companies and recruiters.

Take the chance to make a great first impression and expand your network for possible job offers in the future.

Start applying and contact FS Career Services for advice

Gain practical experience through internships or working student positions during your studies. We will help you with how to do research, both in Germany and abroad, and bring your application documents up to date.

Feel free to book an appointment on JobTeaser to discuss your career-related questions, either in person on campus or online via Zoom. For spontaneous and short questions, you can use our 10-minute Walk-In sessions on Tuesdays and Thursdays. For more detailed questions about your career, competencies or decisions you have to make, we offer a 50-minute appointment with a Career Counsellor of your choice.

If you need an application check, you are welcome to send us an e-mail, and we will provide you with written feedback as well.

It doesn’t matter what kind of career-related question you might have; we are happy to help and guide you from day one of your studies. The entire FS Career Services team is looking forward to getting to know you and wishes you a great start at Frankfurt School!
