Just Leasing is a new offered business game from Volkswagen Financial Services. You are the manager of a leasing company and in this position you have to perform better than your competitors in your market. So it’s like real business life.
The competition started almost half a year ago with 480 competitors. We finally made it to the final in Braunschweig, which would last for three days. This business trip was definitively not a normal one. The winner of Just Leasing is allowed to drive an Audi A3 e-tron one year for FREE!!
After arriving at Braunschweig we directly led our company through the semi last round of the competition. We analysed the situation in our market, thought about our competitors’ strategy and how to beat them.
After work was done the evening program started. A “Nightguard” showed us the city Braunschweig und we enjoyed a traditional dinner in a local restaurant.
The second day began instantly with an awesome event. The head of communications of 
Volkswagen showed us the automobile factory in Wolfsburg in a VIP tour. We got a great experience how this huge company is organized and how an automobile grows from a baby, to the marriage (the motor is added to the car body) to a complete car. A special moment was when we were allowed to work ourselves on constructing parts of the cars. Now we can proudly say that we build some VW Golf. 🙂
The last round of Just Leasing we played in the 
stadium of Eintracht Braunschweig (Second German Bundesliga). The hardest part was not to think about the Porsche und Audis which stood insight and focus on our mission to win this business game. When the work was done we enjoyed driving electro automobiles in the stadium, which was also an awesome experience.
But the work was not completely done. There was one more challenge. On the next day we had to present our strategy in front of the board of directors of Volkswagen Financial Services. So we created a presentation until late in the night.
The last day of our business tour started with a visit of Volkswagen Financial Services. We walked through the company and during some presentations of the board members we got deeper inside of its organization.
In the afternoon it was time to convince the board of directors that we had a great strategy. The feedback was pretty good and we finally made the 3rd place in this challenge.
But the most important result was still unknown. Who won the Audis??? Unfortunately, two teams beat us so we once again made the 3rd place. This was celebrated excessively in the evening with tasty food, many drinks and good music.
In conclusion, we didn’t win the main price, but we had a great time, we met interesting people and we made an awesome experience in these three days.
