Beside your academic education, gaining practical experience and building your own professional network is crucial for your future career. And this exactly is where Career Services step in. Generally speaking, Career Services function as a gateway between you as a Frankfurt School student and the corporate world. All our services aim to prepare Frankfurt School’s students for the job market and to provide them with everything they need for a good a start on their chosen career path.

But what can we do for a first year bachelor student who is still at the beginning of his or her “journey into professional life”?

By offering these consultations and our various career events you will have access to the FS Family career network. Our events give you the opportunity to gain insights into different companies and to get in touch with recruiters. We host company presentations as well as case studies and recruiting events. These events enable you to network and to gain helpful insights. Once a year we host a career fair, the Career Day . This is the perfect opportunity for you to become familiar with new companies and industries: An interesting discussion with a Frankfurt School Alumnus now working in an area you barely know of might give you new ideas for your professional future and might be the beginning of your own professional network. You have never attended a career fair before and don’t know how to prepare? Don’t worry, we are here to help you!

Especially for first-year students, we also organize application trainings and an annual Mentoring Programme. You have the chance to become a mentee of a professionally experienced Frankfurt School alumnus/alumna who would like to share his/her personal knowledge and experience.

And last but not least our job board is full of interesting internships and working student positions in different industries, some of them especially for undergraduates without previous practical experience.

Personal consultations, networking events, company presentations, workshops, Career Day, Job Board, Mentoring,… – Altogether we offer our students unique opportunities for their career development from day one – you only have to take them.

My final advice for you: Start to plan your next career steps as early as possible during your studies and ask us all the questions you might have!
