I chose Frankfurt School's Master of Finance programme primarily due to its exceptional reputation in finance. The university's strong track record, academic excellence and industry connections made it an obvious choice for me. Moreover, the unique three-day model, which enables students to work and study simultaneously, was a significant draw.
Deciding where to pursue a master's degree in finance is no small task. After completing a dual bachelor's programme, I had a clear vision of what I wanted from my next academic journey. The reputation of Frankfurt School as a leading business school was an initial attraction. And academically, FS stood out with its high-quality courses and accomplished professors.

Competing Globally: FS students’ journey & success at the HEC Business Game 2023

The HEC Business Game is an annual competition that brings together students from top universities worldwide to compete in solving real-life business cases. We had the honour to represent FS at the HEC Business Game 2023 and are proud that we performed exceptionally well, winning the overall victory of the business game.
As soon as I joined the Sustainable Finance Team at Deloitte in early 2022, I knew I wanted to further develop and extend my skills and theoretical knowledge in this field. Once I saw the newly offered Sustainable Finance concentration, the decision to complete my Master of Finance degree at FS was very easy for me.

Master of Finance: Choosing the Financial Advisory Concentration

When seeking a consulting, audit or advisory career, the Financial Advisory concentration is the go-to choice for Master of Finance students. Students are challenged to use knowledge in decision-making and more. This blog post will highlight my motivation for choosing FS, the Financial Advisory concentration and my experience as a student.
During my studies in the Master of Finance programme, I had great opportunities to always discover something new, not only gaining new and important knowledge in finance but also challenging myself. It is amazing how Frankfurt School always finds ways to push the boundaries for students and helps everyone get a unique opportunity like the Luxembourg trip.

Many people have asked me: “You want to do investment banking, why are you doing a CFA?” I can certainly see the point, as a CFA is perfect for investment professionals, but for me, the CFA has played a vital role in my exploration of Investment Banking and is a great complementary study alongside the Master of Finance.
After looking back and reflecting on years past, I am very grateful about choosing Frankfurt School. Especially when our lecturers would go above and beyond the rim to make sure we understood the importance of the financial basics which employers request as standard.
