Frankfurt School Charity is a student-led non-profit initiative at Frankfurt School, driven by the belief that meaningful change starts with community. Through close collaboration with various organizations, we work to create social impact: one project, one idea, one act of kindness at a time.

What began as a small team has grown into a passionate group of students spread across nine departments: Human Resources, Marketing, Finance, Spring Run, Easter Donation, Spring Concert, Joblinge, LEO and Volunteering. Each team brings something unique to the table, helping us design and carry out a wide range of charitable initiatives throughout the year.

Our goal is simple yet powerful: to show that even small, thoughtful actions can make a real difference. Whether we’re organizing a campaign on our own or teaming up with other student initiatives, such as FS Music or StuCo, we bring people together to do something that matters.

You might’ve heard about some of our projects: the spring and winter concerts where music meets purpose, our Easter and Christmas shoebox drives that light up children’s faces, or our partnership with Joblinge and LEO, helping pave a brighter future for underprivileged youth. And of course, our Spring Run, which has become a campus tradition.

Running for a Cause

The FS Charity Spring Run was one of our biggest and proudest moments this year.
We were truly overwhelmed by the number of students and supporters who came together to run, walk, or jogg for a shared purpose: raising funds for children battling cancer.

And the result? A staggering €11,500 raised for the Frankfurter Stiftung für krebskranke Kinder.
We couldn’t be more grateful!

Here’s how it worked: Each participant had at least one personal sponsor who pledged to donate a certain amount for every lap completed. It was a simple idea with a great impact.

Throughout the afternoon, the campus came alive. Music filled the air, team spirit was everywhere, and the atmosphere was full of energy and purpose. After crossing the finish line, participants gathered for a charity BBQ where every euro spent went directly into the donation fund.

Everyone contributed, one lap at a time. Some ran solo, others in groups. To add a little extra excitement, we hosted a fundraising competition among student initiatives. The top three teams received €125, €100, and €75 in prize money from StuCo.

It was more than just a run! It was a community coming together to make a difference.

Empowerment through Partnerships

We were also excited to welcome some special guests to campus this year: none other than Max Coga and the PIK Dame team, who joined us as new partners. As a professional MMA fighter, Max embodies the power of movement, discipline, and determination which are values that perfectly reflect the spirit of the Spring Run. Not only did he inspire participants with his presence, but he and his team also stood firmly behind our mission, offering their full support to FS Charity.

Later that evening, we kept the momentum going with an exclusive afterparty at PIK Dame, one of Frankfurt’s most iconic venues. Thanks to the generous support of the PIK Dame team, our runners enjoyed early entry turning the day into a full, unforgettable experience.

And what’s a run without a little fuel? We’re incredibly grateful to have had Red Bull by our side, keeping everyone energized lap after lap.

We would also like to thank StuCo for helping us spread the word and for their generous support throughout the event!

Turning Donations into Impact

We’re deeply honored to contribute to the mission of the Frankfurter Stiftung für krebskranke Kinder, which helps families navigate the emotional and financial challenges that come with such difficult circumstances.

The foundation also plays a vital role in advancing pediatric cancer research. In its own research facility, the Dr. Petra Joh-Haus, it provides state-of-the-art infrastructure for more than 60 scientists working across two research groups. With cutting-edge equipment, dedicated lab space, and strong institutional support, the foundation enables groundbreaking work that brings hope to countless families.

Let’s Keep it Going!

The Spring Run was more than just an event: it was a moving reminder of what we can achieve when students, staff, and partners come together for something bigger than themselves. What fuels FS Charity is exactly what we felt that day, being genuine compassion, a strong sense of unity, and the belief that even small actions can create real change.

We want to carry that feeling forward. And we know…we can’t do it alone!

FS Charity is an open, welcoming space where everyone is invited to grow, contribute, and be part of something meaningful. We value diversity, inclusion, and the power of showing up as your true self because that’s what makes our community strong.

Whether you’re looking to volunteer, bring in your own ideas, or just want to learn more about who we are and what we do, you’ll always find open doors and open hearts here.

Come say hi, send us a message, don’t hesitate!  We’re always excited to meet new people, hear new ideas, and create something beautiful together.

There’s always a way to make a difference. And we’d be so happy to have you with us.

– The FS Charity Team
