Voices of Change: Inside the Frankfurt School Student Council

The Frankfurt School Business Forum is a student-led initiative that organises a two-day event completely managed by Frankfurt School students. During these two days, students gather, learn and interact with renowned guests, partner companies and peers in various formats. From networking workshops and inspiring speeches to discussions and roundtables, we organise interactive sessions designed to empower participants with practical knowledge and networking opportunities.

Who can attend and where?

The FS Business Forum, although completely organised by Frankfurt School students, invites all students interested in business, entrepreneurship and politics. All planned formats take place on Frankfurt School’s campus in Frankfurt.

Many industries – one event

At the FS Business Forum, participants can engage in workshops conducted by prestigious companies, connect meaningfully with industry experts and arm themselves with practical strategies to navigate through the business landscape.

I believe it is essential for our participants to gain comprehensive insights from various industries and sectors. That’s why we bring together speakers and partners from diverse sectors. While finance and consulting have their place, we cover Entrepreneurship, Consumer Goods, Politics and more. For instance, alongside esteemed names like ING, BNP Paribas, Berenberg, Bankhaus Metzler, Accuracy and EY, we have proudly partnered with Picnic Technologies and A. Lange & Söhne in this year’s event. This diversity makes the Forum a unique platform where many industries converge, providing valuable insights for everyone.

Speakers that educate and inspire

Year after year, I have found the Business Forum’s lineup of speakers truly stellar, and this year is no exception. Under the theme “Maze of Challenges – Ready to Lead,” the FS Business Forum welcomes guests who deliver insightful talks, explain today’s business complexities, and empower our participants to take charge in the ever-changing corporate world.

Among the speakers we welcome Holger Kneisel (member of the Executive Board of KPMG Germany), Wilhelm Schmid (CEO of A. Lange & Söhne), Bettina Stark-Watzinger (Federal Minister for Education and Research), Karl-Hendrik Magnus (Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company) and a lot more.

Several formats catering to every need

One of the most distinctive aspects of our event I value is its diverse array of formats and events designed to cater to different preferences and styles of engagement, ensuring a well-rounded and enriching experience for everyone involved. We have workshops for collaborative activities under guidance of industry leaders, speeches by prominent speakers and thought leaders, coffee chats for informal conversations with industry professionals, panel discussions for interactive audience participation, corporate dinners, roundtables and many more formats.

Through this rich tapestry of formats and holistic approach to engagement, our event creates a dynamic and inclusive platform for our participants.

How to join our workshops?

Joining the workshops at FS Business Forum is a simple process. First, purchase your event ticket through our website, ensuring you secure your spot at the forum. During the registration process, you’ll have the opportunity to upload your CV, which allows you to apply for workshops that align with your interests and professional goals.

Once you’ve registered and uploaded your CV, choose your preferred workshops from the available options and express your interest to participate. The selection process will consider your application, and upon acceptance, you will receive a confirmation email indicating your successful enrolment in the chosen workshops.

Welcome to our 5th anniversary

Looking back at last year’s success, this year promises even more opportunities. This year particularly holds special significance as we mark the 5th anniversary of the Business Forum. I am thrilled to be a part of the Business Forum’s marketing team this year and contribute to its 5th edition. As the event unfolds, it will bring more opportunities to learn and connect for every participant.

Engage in interactive workshops led by industry leaders and participating companies this year on 17 and 18 November. Collaborate, share insights and explore innovative solutions for pressing challenges. For more information, connect with us on LinkedIn and Instagram. We are waiting for you!
