Learning strategy and negotation: The Solvay Business Game

We, Rahul Jain and Prabhash had the opportunity to represent Frankfurt School in the 17th edition of Solvay Business Game in Brussels this month. With over 300 bright-minded students selected from top B-schools world-wide, Solvay Business Game is a two-day event and one of the most prestigious of its kind.
In February, our team, comprising Cloe de Leo, Tomislav Aleksic, Vato Vepkhvadze and Martha Zoller, had the extraordinary opportunity to represent Frankfurt School at the IE Business School 2024 Case Competition in Madrid. The competition was challenging yet enlightening, pitting us against eight other globally renowned universities over one intense week.

FS students’ participation in A4S International Case Competition (A4SICC)

In September 2023, Frankfurt School Community Management informed the student body about the A4S (Accounting for Sustainability) International Case Competition 2023. Hong Nhung Tran, Tobias Klinkhamels and I, Cloe De Leo, decided to apply. We believed that the A4SICC would allow the three of us to train our skills in sustainability and human rights.
Transitioning to a new country is a bold step filled with unexpected twists and turns. From finding a place to live, managing daily expenses and ensuring you're covered for essentials to embracing the adventure of European travel, your time in Frankfurt is yours to shape. This vibrant city offers a rich tapestry of experiences waiting for you to make it your own.

Sustain Challenge 2023: Invest goes Green

Over the past month we had the honour to participate in the “Sustain Challenge of Talents of Tomorrow”, organised by EintrachtTech and the Tomorrow University of Applied Sciences. Our team was asked to develop a “Green Rewards Programme” for the Deutsche Bank App that motivates users to adopt sustainable banking practices.
The FS Business Forum is a student-led initiative that organises a two-day event completely managed by FS students. From networking workshops and inspiring speeches to discussions and roundtables, students gather, learn and interact with renowned guests, partner companies and peers in various formats during these two days.

I used to think that you can’t do much despite doing your best and having your best intentions in mind. My mindset has changed, however. I now believe that to so much as have one person question the way they think and re-evaluate their bias is incredible.

FS Chance – Erfahrungen von Studierenden

FS Chance hat es sich zur Aufgabe gemacht, Studierende zu inspirieren, zu vernetzen und zu unterstützen. Die Initiative findet in Kooperation mit der ehrenamtlichen Organisation KinderHelden statt. Durch ihr persönliches Engagement bei KinderHelden können Studierende innerhalb eines Mentoring-Programms Kindern helfen.
Die Deutschen Hochschulmeisterschaften im Schwimmen waren etwas ganz Besonderes, da sie die ersten nach der Phase der Corona-Pandemie waren. Nach langer Zeit ohne Hochschul-Wettkämpfe war es toll, wieder in die sportliche Action einzusteigen und zu sehen, wie wir uns im Vergleich zu anderen Athleten geschlagen haben.
