Specifically aimed at experienced professionals, Frankfurt School’s Executive MBA (EMBA) programme is designed to prepare course participants for top management positions. Internationally recognised and respected, the Frankfurt School EMBA opens doors and advances careers. We are one of Germany’s top-ranked business schools.
Frankfurt School is centrally located in Frankfurt am Main, nestled in the vibrant and economically booming Rhine-Main Region, is the most international city in Germany – nearly one in three residents are not German. Frankfurt serves as Europe’s financial capital. It is home to the European Central Bank, the German Stock Exchange (DAX), hosts 248 credit institutions, and 18 of the world’s 25 largest banks have branch offices in Frankfurt. The region is also home to hundreds of Germany’s famous Mittelstand companies or SMEs and a hub for the pharmaceutical, IT, manufacturing and logistics companies. In addition, Frankfurt is host to more foreign companies’ headquarters than any other city in Germany.
It is no surprise that a business school in such a diverse and vibrant economic region would offer an internationally focused Executive MBA. The EMBA at Frankfurt School is taught entirely in English by professors from all over the world, including Australia, Ireland, Spain, Africa, and the USA. The curriculum aims to develop students to be able to work effectively in a diverse and global business environment. This international focus culminates in the International Week, where students travel to one of our many partner universities, including, for example, China Europe International Business School, University of Ljubljana, Kedge Business School (France), or Olin Business School (USA).
At Frankfurt School we feel that you shouldn’t have to put your career on hold in order to advance it. For this reason, the 18-month part-time EMBA programme has been specially designed to enable professionals with at least 5 years’ experience to keep working full-time during their studies. Lectures and seminars take place at weekends and in several block-week sessions. Should students live outside of Frankfurt, they will find it quite easy to commute given that Frankfurt has both the busiest airport and train station in Germany.
Frankfurt School awards attractive partial scholarships with the aim of enhancing the diversity of our EMBA class. We provide financial support to high-performing candidates who enrich our programme in particular ways, including women in management, executives working for SMEs, and international participants.
